If your fine was issued in the city of Rethymno, you can pay it in person at the Town Hall (open Monday to Friday, 08:00–14:30). Prefer to handle it online? Visit epay.rethymno.gr. In some cases, you can also pay through a local Post Office or Bank. Again, let AUTOWAY confirm the correct place, some fines are only payable at specific institutions.

Heraklion Makes It Simple with Online Payment.

For fines issued in Heraklion, head straight to epay.heraklion.gr. This is the city’s official online payment portal, and it accepts major cards. Still, we advise sending AUTOWAY your fine first, especially if it’s handwritten or unclear, some have specific instructions.

In Chania? Use the City’s e-Payment Portal.

 Chania also offers a smooth digital solution at epay.chania.gr. But like other regions, details and reference numbers may only appear in Greek, so it’s best to let us double-check everything before you pay.

Agios Nikolaos is a headache. 

As of 2025, if your fine comes from Agios Nikolaos, you’ll likely need to make a manual bank deposit. After that, send us the receipt so we can verify it’s properly recorded. This city doesn’t yet offer an online payment portal, and errors are easy to make if you don’t read Greek, so lean on AUTOWAY for guidance.
